After 5 - Handwoven on the Bay

Please join us on November 16 for the next After 5 hosted by Handwoven on the Bay.

Handwoven on the Bay is a weaving studio full of warmth, colour, and a small forest of textile-producing equipment from spinning wheels to weaving looms.

Exquisite handwoven items are lovingly created with technology that hasn’t changed for hundreds of years. Even a simple handwoven bookmark is made with card-weaving methods found in ancient Viking burial sites. Tuck one in a new book under the Christmas Tree!

Visit my studio, where you can see the looms in action, creating one-of-a-kind art you can wear and use, with high quality, materials that are carefully curated to be local and ethical.

A wide selection of gorgeous scarves and shawls from silky to cozy are available, as well as luxurious heirloom throw blankets and items to make your dining room table dazzle.

Thirsty and beautiful handwoven tea towels are my most popular item, with many customers making repeat purchases.

I am proudly offering a handwoven item for the Business Card draw, so don’t forget your card! Even if you don’t win, I’m told the homemade ginger snaps are worth the visit.
